The history of FIRPLAK S.A. goes back at 1978, year in which the Company began its operations like maker of badges in fiber glass, of there its name. Some years later (1981), FIRPLAK S.A. was acquired by its current owners, obtaining this way, better operative conditions and beginning a process of improvement in its competitiveness.

In 1985 the company moved to the local that at the moment occupies in an approximate area of 4000 mt2.

In 1988 Firplak began the exportation which has come in a gradual growth year after year, marketing at the moment in eleven countries.

In 1989, the directive team of the company took the decision of focusing the production exclusively to articles for bathrooms, kitchens and area clothes .

In 1994 began the development of products manufactured in Cast Polymer, which are marketed under the registered mark of Cold Porcelain .

In 1999, for the conviction of helping to build a better country for our children and the future generations, the development of processes of industrial conversion of its undone in materials for the elaboration of new products (not necessarily inside the focus of bathrooms, kitchens and area clothes). for this reason nowadays FIRPLAK feels proud of not contaminating the environment, cohabiting in harmony with the nature.

In September of 2003 we decide to begin the road toward the certification ISO 9001-2000, and in November of 2004 it was granted us the respective certify.
