P/. Is the hydro-massage the same as a “Jacuzzi”?

R/. Yes,Jacuzzi is a North American brand which was the pioneer in the manufacture of hydro massage bathtubs. Because of this his name becomes a generic identification for the hydro massage bathtubs. It must be clear that Jacuzzi is a brand, and for this reason this name can not be used in the products.

P/. What are the materials of Stone Color?

R/. The stone color has on its finish special resins mixed with particles of quartz that make more resistant the surfaces of our products.

P/. In the place that I install a single bathtub, can I install a hydro massage bathtub?

R/. Yes. The installation process of a hydro massage bathtub is the same as a single bathtub. The only additional consideration is that we must make a unique electrical installation to connect the massage bathtub, and consider a register cover for the maintenance of the equipment.

P/. With what material are manufactured the bathtubs and hydro massage bathtubs?

R/. Our bathtubs and hydro massage bathtubs are manufactured in fiber glass reinforced polyester resin, covered with gel coat, which guaranties the excellent finish of our products and its chemical resistance.

P/. What is the material of cold porcelain, (Cast Polymer)?

R/. Cold Porcelain is a FIRPLAK Trade Mark for lavatories, laundry sinks and kitchen sinks, manufactured in cast polymer. The cast polymer is a mixture of resin and classified minerals, recovered by gel coat which guarantees the excellent finish of our products and their chemical resistance.

P/. What is Stone Color?

R/. Stone Color is the name we give in FIRPLAK to our products with stone finish.

P/. The power button does not work.

P/. How is the care and maintenance of FIRPLAK products?

R/. During its normal use, for the presence of grease and dirt, the FIRPLAK products can lose their original finish shine. To keep the original appearance of your FIRPLAK product, follow these recommendations: 1. To remove stains or tape messes adhered to the finish, that were not possible to remove with detergent or liquid soap, use thinner and then car wax. Be careful to cover with masking tape the plastic chromed accessories, to avoid thinner deteriorate them. 2. To remove grease and dirt, use soft detergents (liquids if possible) and cloth or non abrasive sponges. 3. To maintain original brightness regularly apply car wax. 4. In case of stain or superficial scratches use polish paste and then car wax. 5. If your product is Stone finish, just clean it with sponge and soap and it will looks as new. 6. P/. How must the FIRPLAK hydro massage equipment be handled?

R/. For the adequate operation of your FIRPLAK HYDROMASSAGE BATHTUB, follow these instructions: 1. Fill the bathtub with water until the hydro jets are completely covered. 2. Verify that the equipment is connected to the correspondent outlet. 3. Turn the breakers to the “on” position. 4. If your bathtub is hydro massage only, push the pneumatic button, to turn on the hydro massage system. To turn it off, push the pneumatic button again. You will also find a circle that turns called “regulator”, move it to get out more or less pressure for all hydro jets; you also can regulate the hydro jets pressure individually turning the cover. 5. If your equipment has hydro air massage, you will see two buttons, one of them will have drops drawn (this is the hydro) and the other one has drawn bubbles (air massage). Press any or the two buttons depending if you want a massage or other or both if you want to enjoy a double massage. 6. If your equipment has in addition chromo therapy, you will see one button. It will has on/off and pause signal to stop it in the desired color. The massage equipment can stay connected to electricity. To avoid your equipments turns on accidentally, be careful to turn off the breakers once you finish enjoying your massage.

P/. My equipment does not work

R/. Verify if it is connected to the outlet. If not plug it and turn on. - Verify if the breaker is turned off. If so turn it to “on” position - Verify for power at home. - Verify that the transparent hose which connects the power button to the pneumatic switch is not disconnected from the button or switch. If so, connect it and turn on. - If after checking the above your equipment does not work ask for technical service to your local supplier.

P/. The hydro jet does not work

R/. Can be closed, remember the hydro jet turns to give more or less power to water. If so, open it by turning the cover. Anyway if the problem continues contact your local supplier or contact us to: marta.giraldo@firplak.com

P/. I have a product with stone appearance and it is stained.

R/. Do not worry, it is not a stain. The stone appearance products use to allocate more dirt into its pores that the shine appearance. To remove dirt use sponge and soap and rinse with water.

P/. The power button does not work.
